Alan Vo D.O.
Alan T. Vo, DO, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician (physiatrist) specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions relating to the spine and musculoskeletal system. His special interest include treating spinal radiculopathy and injury to the peripheral musculoskeletal system, such as, but not limited to, the shoulders, elbows, wrist, hips, knees, and ankles. As a former collegiate athlete, he also has a strong interest in treating athletic injuries.
His medical background has allowed for a diverse skill-set ranging from pharmacological management of pain syndromes to physical rehabilitation and orthotic prescription to ultrasound and fluoroscopic-guided procedures of the limbs and spine.
Dr. Vo received fellowship training in advanced interventional spine procedures and in sports medicine under the nationally-renowned physician, Dr. Michael B. Furman, at Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists Health in York, PA. He is currently a collaborating author of Dr. Furman's well-respected textbook, Atlas of Image-Guided Spinal Procedures, second edition. Prior to fellowship, Dr. Vo completed an Osteopathic internship at Downey, CA, followed by residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital/University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD, where he served at as chief resident. Dr. Vo is a Seattle native and is an alumnus of Seattle University.
In his free time, Dr. Vo enjoys spending time with family, exercising, playing soccer, and drawing comics.
