Clinical Research

At the Washington Center for Pain Management, we are active in clinical research.  The field of pain management has undergone significant changes in the past five years resulting in a paradigm shift of how we as physician scientists view chronic pain.  Through research, we strive to add to the development of novel therapies for treating this distinctive disease entity.  With your help, our clinical department will continue to grow.

Current and planned clinical trials include the following:

                Abuse deterrent opioid medications

Neuromodulation therapy for refractory neuropathic pain

Psychological therapy and mind body techniques
